Committee #5 will be a historical crisis committee oriented towards placing delegates in a position to react and respond to The Red Scare during the early Cold War period. Crisis committees will operate under slightly different rules of procedure and format/structure which will be addressed both in the background guide as well as on the day of the conference. Additionally, delegates will be assigned to represent either individuals or institutions as opposed to member-states in the case of a traditional Model UN committee.
