For AMUNI IV, the keynote speaker will be Mr. Douglas Coutts.
Mr. Coutts is a retired UN Resident Coordinator for UNDP and UNFPA in the Comoros, a Senior Advisor to the Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP)'s Child Hunger Initiative, the WFP's Country Director for Bangladesh, Nepal, the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea (DPRK), and Namibia, the Charge de Mission for the WFP, UNTAG in SouthWest Africa/Namibia, and Director of the North Amreican Office of the WFP. In addition to his distinguished career, Mr. Coutts, since 2015, has been a Distinguished Visiting Professor Emeritus and Diplomat (rtd) in Residence at Auburn University, helping to establish the university's Hunger Studies program in the College of Human Sciences.Â
